These pants are darker than the image you see in the picture just so you know. They’re also pretty rigid feeling, it doesn’t say in the description, but I would say these will probably hold up well in rain. I believe them to be water resistant maybe significantly not waterproof I would say these breathe a lot more than waterproof parachute pants. I also have a solid black pair and a solid green pear. They are completely identical without the hunting camo pattern and those two feel more like umbrella material. They may do well in the rain too, but they do feel softer and more breathable. Either way, I love all three of them, and I really like that. These are a little harder, material, more crunchy, more rigid, and possibly significantly water resistant and still somewhat breathable. If that’s something you’re looking for these are it I would probably not wear these on a really hot day and probably wear the other ones But pants or pants and hot weather so do as you will. I did buy the jacket pullover that goes with these particular pants with the same pattern and that is a really nice piece too super high collar same material. It will probably be my go to rain outfit as well as my moderate weather outfit. Cold weather, heavy wind, and somewhat hotter weather as well. Definitely room enough to layer up and big enough to allow airflow altogether love these pants that’s why I have them in multiple styles and colors even got the pullover quarter zip jacket to go with them.
